Upload a long recording
Upload the whole file. There's no need to cut it into pieces first.

Step 1: Choose Upload and pick the file, or drag it into the window.
Step 2: Choose the spoken language if you know it; it helps the first transcript.
Step 3: Keep the tab open until the file is sent. On a phone, keep the screen on.
Step 4: Keep working while it transcribes. Activity shows each step and how far along it is.
How long it takes
- Transcription usually takes a fraction of the recording's length. Long or noisy recordings take longer.
- If nothing moves for 15 minutes, choose Try again in Activity. You're not charged twice.
- Your audio is kept until the transcript is ready.
