Translate Audio to Text
When transcription and translation live in separate tools, context gets copied, flattened, and lost. Transcribe audio, then run translations without leaving your secure note.
Steps

Upload audio or record, then pick a transcription language or leave auto-detect on.

Generate a transcript in Notes.

Open the Translate action to create another language version while keeping the original in history.

Review the translation, then use Generate spoken translation to create, listen to, and download the spoken version.

- How many languages are supported?
- Auto-detect handles the source audio, you can manually pin 14 recording languages, and the Translate action offers 100 output languages.
- Can I keep both original and translated text?
- Yes. Translating creates a new note version, so the previous text stays in history and you can open the diff view to compare them side-by-side.
- Can I generate audio from the translation?
- Yes. After reviewing the translation, use Generate spoken translation to create playable audio. Listen to it, correct the text if needed, regenerate it, and download the finished audio.
