Record or upload: which to use

Record when

• you're in the meeting, call or visit and want the transcript right after it;
• you're thinking out loud: a voice note, a draft or an idea between tasks;
• you dictate: speak for a minute and get a clean note back.

Upload when

• the recording is already on your phone or computer: a voice memo, a WhatsApp voice message or a meeting recording;
• the file is long: interviews, lectures and meetings of several hours;
• someone else recorded it and sent you the file.

Online calls

No bot joins your call. In Chrome or Edge on a computer, Sondeas can record your microphone together with the sound of a browser tab. Anywhere else, record with the desktop app or upload the meeting recording afterwards.
