Ask for and log patient consent

Ask before every recorded consultation. Recording stays off until you log the answer.

Ask and log

  1. Step 1: Start the encounter and continue to Consent.

  2. Step 2: Read the consent script for the patient's country aloud, or copy the version in the patient's language for them to read.

  3. Step 3: Log how the patient answered. If they object, recording stays off for this encounter.

  4. Step 4: The answer, how it was given and when are kept with the encounter.

Good to know

  • Consent is asked in every country, including the US.
  • Your practice can replace the default script with its own approved version.
  • When you don't share a language with the patient, use a professional interpreter for consent.
