Is Heidi free?
Yes. Heidi's pricing page (read 22 Oct 2026) lists a free plan with unlimited scribing, and paid plans for more assistant features. Sondeas has no free plan. Pro and Clinician start with 7 days free, card required.
Why pay for Sondeas if Heidi has a free plan?
For how you review: evidence on every sentence, checks before signing, sign and lock, consent logged per visit and a passphrase lock. If those do not matter to you, Heidi Free may be enough.
Can I try Heidi and Sondeas on the same note?
Yes, and we recommend it. Dictate a non-identifiable test case into both and compare the drafts and how long review takes.
Does Sondeas work with my EHR?
Copy into any EHR section by section, or dictate into web EHR fields with the browser extension. Direct integrations are planned; ask us about yours.
Is Sondeas a medical device? Is it HIPAA compliant?
Documentation support, not a medical device: Sondeas drafts, you review and sign. We do not offer a BAA at launch and do not claim HIPAA compliance. Contact us before using US patient data.
